Paco Ahlgren, Discipline, blog, hub, center, official siteI spend my days writing about complex financial issues, designing web sites, working on search engine optimization (SEO), and once again, having all sorts of fun adventures with TMBTITU. Because, in addition to being TMBTITU, she is also The Most Fun Thing in the Universe. And she’s my best friend.

Who is TMBTITU? She’s 27-months-old, and she’s The Most Beautiful Thing In the Universe.

In July 2007, I published my first novel, Discipline, which has won me a bunch of awards that don’t really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things. It’s being slated for a major motion picture release sometime between now and 2014. Of course, the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, so I guess it won’t matter.

Discipline has been translated into several languages — the latest of which looks like it’s going to be French. I can’t wait to see how that goes over.

I just won a massive custody battle with my ex. Horrific. The operative word? “Won.”

IMPERATIVES:

1. To make as much money as possible so I can send TMBTITU to Dartmouth (or wherever).

2. To make as much money as possible so I can live a life of excess, eat unhealthy food, get so obese the rings on my fingers won’t come off, and attend parties with hot chicks who normally wouldn’t have anything to do with me.

    Gave TMBTITU up for almost two weeks for spring break. This is the quintessential Einsteinian time dilation; I must be close to the speed of light, because the next 12 days are going to seem like 12 years. I hope she’ll be okay…

    Tonight TMBTITU fell asleep on my chest. No television. No books. Nothing. I just sat there and let it soak into my bones, because I know it won’t last forever. She is truly the most important thing that has ever happened to me. By a very wide margin.
